Give your contribution to the AIIG with your ideas and professionalism;

join the AIIG!

Becoming a member of the AIIG allows:

- to receive for free the journal “Ambiente Società Territorio - Geografia nelle scuole" (“Environment Society Territory – Geography in the schools”)

and other teaching material produced by the AIIG for its members;

- to take part in national, regional and local Conventions;

- to attend training courses and refresher courses;

- to take part in conferences and other events, also in cooperation with schools, other institutions and associations which share the same objectives;

- to take part in educational trips lasting one or more days, in Italy and abroad;

- to appoint the members of the governing body of the Association, taking part in the national, regional and provincial elections and then, being directly involved in the management of the AIIG.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

To become a member it is needed the payment (from  September 1st to  May 5th) of the subscription dues (euros 27 for “Active Members” - euros 12 for “Junior Members” and students, including the journal):

At the Regional Branch you belong to

through bank transfer to the current account  n. 6908/30, registered in: “Associazione Italiana Insegnanti di Geografia”, Banca di Roma, Filiale Roma 92, Piazza Cavour, Roma (ABI 3002.3 – CAB 05101.1).

NOTE: If you join the AIIG through  bank transfer, together with the payment of the subscription dues, you will have to send your personal details (Name, Surname, Address) to the following e-mail address: aleconso@yahoo.com  or to the AIIG National Headquarters, at the following address:

Members of AIIG can be:

a.      primary and secondary school teachers and university professors;

b.  schools and institutions with geographic aims or interests;

c.  connoisseurs or experts on geographic subjects;

d.  members’ relatives who want to take part in the events promoted by the AIIG, without receiving the journal;

e.  young university students who are not involved in professional activities.
